MANDATORY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate must be:

• Program / code new plugins for the Opencart ECommerce platform
• Operate and maintain web servers
• Troubleshoot email server, web server, database server problems as they occur
• Web development for customer/client/company portal
• Maintain a high traffic and high reliability MySQL server
• Program / code new plugins for the WordPress CMS
• Maintain a high level of communication with interoffice personnel
• Minimum of 2 years of experience.
• We are looking for a web developer who specializes in OpenCart and has wide experience in the Ecommerce platform.

DESIRABLE EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, CERTIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES

The following are not essential, however candidate with the following will be at an advantage:

• Highly proficient with the MVC model of programming.
• High level knowledge of the LAMP environment. Apache Web server, MySQL Database, and PHP programming language.
• Highly proficient knowledge of PHP and MySQL from both a developer and administrator standpoint.
• Proficient in the use, troubleshooting, and programming for the Opencart ecommerce system
• Working knowledge of good standards of ecommerce online sales.
• Web optimization for SEO sales performance.
• Google Analytics proficiency
• Google Webmaster Tools
