Responsibilities include:
- Produce service drawings / models as requested
- Liaison and coordination with Client’s engineers on production of drawings
- Co-ordination with other services within internal teams and external third parties
- Compliance with all QA procedures and guidelines
- Completing Client review meetings
- MEP family development
- Software enhancement and training to all staff
Desired Skills and Experience
- Engineering focused qualification
- Experience in Design consultancy and understanding of the practical
build-ability of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) services for design
modelling detailing and presentation of drawing Design purposes. - Site experience and understanding of the practical build-ability of MEP
(Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) services for Construction detailing and
presentation of MEP drawings for installation. - Understanding of LOD’s (level of development) and modelling requirements
for the respective levels to be achieved and what should be included in each
stage of project. - 5+ years’ experience in Australia and/or New Zealand in:
Building Services Co-ordination modelling
Design Consultants drawing experience (and/or) Contractors Construction
drawing experience
active projects producing construction documents using Revit MEP
Revit MEP
- It is also beneficial, but not essential, if you have
an understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods;
a good knowledge of engineering design principles and MEP production; and/or
experience with duct systems, electrical, plumbing, and piping layouts and
designs.
Software Requirements (Essential)
- Revit Family Creation (Advanced)
- Naviswork Clash Detection (Advanced) to be able to run a Clash co-ordination
meeting - Knowledge of MEP (HVAC & Plumbing) design and equipment
- Knowledge of MEP services design and equipment uses and arrangements
